Ziad Ismail

Ziad Ismail joined Silver Lake in 2024 and is an Operating Executive. Prior to Silver Lake, he held a number of senior executive roles in product & engineering. He was the first Chief Product Officer at Convoy, where he helped pioneer AI and automation in commercial logistics and scale the company from Series A to Series E. Most recently, Ziad was Chief Operating Officer at Xembly, a startup focused on enterprise automation using AI. Previously, Ziad spent 7 years in product leadership roles at Microsoft, was the Chief Product Officer of Marchex and Chief Executive Officer of CitiKey. Ziad earned an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
