Avram Kornberg

Avram Kornberg joined Silver Lake in 2023 as a Managing Director and the Chief Technology Officer. He currently serves on the board of Blackhawk Network Holdings, Inc. Before joining Silver Lake, Avram founded Stratecution Consulting, where he offered guidance to clients in financial services, software, and asset management. At Stratecution, he also served as an advisor to Silver Lake and held several interim C-level roles for clients, including CISO at the Options Clearing Corp. and both CTO and CISO roles at Hellman & Friedman. Earlier in his career, he was the CTO at TPG Capital, MF Global, Moore Capital, Natexis Bank USA, and OppenheimerFunds. Avram began his career as a software developer and project manager at financial services firms including Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust.

Avram holds a B.A. in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton and an M.B.A. in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
