Raj Atluru joined Silver Lake in 2011 and is a Managing Director of Silver Lake Kraftwerk. He has been investing in the energy and resource sectors since 1996, both domestically and in emerging markets. Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Atluru was a Partner at Draper Fisher Jurvetson for 11 years where he spearheaded DFJ's cleantech investment practice since 2001 and its India investment operations since 2005, leading DFJ's partnership with Element Partners in 2005 to co-found one of the largest dedicated cleantech funds. Mr. Atluru has led numerous investments in companies specializing in renewable energy, energy storage, smart grid and energy efficiency applications, wireless technologies, and business software and services. On behalf of Silver Lake Kraftwerk, he previously served on the board of directors of SolarCity (SCTY). In addition, he serves on the advisory board of the Cleantech Investors Forum and co-founded The Spotlight Fund, a non-profit dedicated to funding start-up educational entrepreneurs. Before re-joining Silver Lake, Mr. Fichtner was at Elevation Partners and invested in technology-enabled businesses in media, entertainment, and consumer-related sectors. Adam Grosser

Adam Grosser joined Silver Lake in 2011 and is the Group Head and Managing Director of Silver Lake Kraftwerk. He has 28 years of experience as a successful investor and operator in a broad array of technology companies. Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Grosser was a General Partner at Foundation Capital where, as part of the cleantech team, he helped to establish a widely regarded and differentiated cleantech investment practice. He served as a Director of Calix Networks Inc. (CALX) since May 2009, including through its public offering in 2010. Mr. Grosser also served on the boards of EnerNoc (ENOC) until June 2010 and Conviva, Control4, GridIron, Sentient Energy, SiBEAM, Silver Spring Networks, and Transmedics until January 2011, and since December 2012 he has served on the board of the National Venture Capital Association. He is a lecturer at the UCLA School of Film and Television and contributes to National Public Radio's Marketplace. Mr. Grosser holds a B.A.S., an M.S., and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Bryce Lee joined Silver Lake in 2011 and is a Managing Director of Silver Lake Kraftwerk. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, serving as head of the Technology Group for the Americas and as co-head of the Alternative Energy Group. Mr. Lee was instrumental in building Credit Suisse's investment banking franchises in Asia and in cleantech, and was named to Forbes magazine's "Midas List" of the top 100 technology dealmakers in the world. He was a member of Credit Suisse's Investment Banking Committee and served on the Managing Director Evaluation Committee. Mr. Lee has led numerous transactions for industry leaders in the cleantech sector in the U.S. and in Asia and raised over $6.7 billion in 22 public and private financings for cleantech companies from 2005 to 2011. Mr. Lee has also executed financings for nearly a dozen leading technology businesses in Asia. Mr. Lee is currently on the board of directors of PCCW Ltd and Eka Software Solutions. Mr. Lee holds a B.A. in Economics and Asian Languages from Stanford University.

Neil Barua joined Silver Lake in 2013 and is an Operating Partner.  Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Barua was an Operating Advisor responsible for restructurings and human capital for Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm. Previously, Mr. Barua was part of the executive leadership team that took telecommunications company Global Crossing through a restructuring and consequent sale to Level 3 Communications.  Mr. Barua held several leadership positions at Global Crossing, including most recently as Managing Director of its enterprise services division.  Before Global Crossing, Mr. Barua worked at Asia Global Crossing in Hong Kong and was a key participant in its $400 million initial public offering.  Previously, Mr. Barua worked at Merrill Lynch as an investment banker in its Global Communications Group.  Mr. Barua received a B.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the Stern School at New York University with a minor in Political Science.

Susannah Carrier joined Silver Lake in 2006 and is a Managing Director. Ms. Carrier heads fund marketing and investor relations for all the Firm’s strategies. Gordon Goldstein

Gordon M. Goldstein joined Silver Lake in 2010. He is a Managing Director with responsibility for global external affairs, including government relations, public policy, strategic communications, and media relations issues for Silver Lake as well as key public affairs issues for the firm’s portfolio companies. In 2012 Mr. Goldstein  represented Silver Lake as a member of the United States government and industry delegation to the World Conference on International Telecommunications. Mr. Goldstein previously served as a Managing Director at Clark & Weinstock, a government relations, corporate communications, and strategy consulting firm.

 

Mr. Goldstein is a former Senior Adviser to the Strategic Planning Unit of the Executive Office of the United Nations Secretary General and previously served as Co-Director of the Council on Foreign Relations Project on the Information Revolution and as Co-Director of the Brookings Institution Project on Sovereign Wealth Funds and Global Public Investors. Mr. Goldstein is a former Wayland Fellow and visiting lecturer at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University and was a visiting lecturer at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency. He is the author of Lessons In Disaster: McGeorge Bundy and the Path to War in Vietnam, a study of national security strategy and White House decision-making which was a Foreign Affairs bestseller published by Times Books. He has appeared on the ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and BBC television networks and his articles and book review essays have appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek, Financial Times, and other publications. Mr. Goldstein is a graduate of Columbia University, where he was an International Fellow and was awarded a B.A. and M.I.A. as well as the M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in political science and international relations.

Ajei Gopal joined Silver Lake as an Operating Partner in 2013. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager in the IT Management Business Unit of HP Software, responsible for the product and technology portfolio as well as the overall success of the business. Before joining HP Software in 2011, Mr. Gopal was Executive Vice President of the Technology and Development Group at CA Technologies. Prior to that, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President at Symantec Corporation. Mr. Gopal also co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of ReefEdge Networks, a wireless LAN systems company. Prior to that, he spent nine years at IBM in a variety of technology roles, including Chief Technology Officer for its Pervasive Computing Division. Mr. Gopal began his career as a member of the technical staff of Bell Communications Research’s Applied Research Division. Mr. Gopal is currently on the Board of Directors and a member of the audit and strategy committees for ANSYS Inc. He also served as a member of the Cloud Computing Steering Committee at the World Economic Forum between 2009 and 2011. He has been awarded twenty-three U.S. patents over the course of his career and is the author of numerous publications. Mr. Gopal holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and a doctorate degree in computer science from Cornell University.

Glenn Hutchins

Glenn Hutchins is a co-founder of Silver Lake. He is chairman of the board of SunGard Data Systems, Inc. as well as a director of both AT&T and NASDAQ OMX.  He is a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and vice chairman of The Brookings Institution. Mr. Hutchins is a director of the Harvard Management Company, which is responsible for the Harvard University endowment, and co-chairman of the University’s capital campaign. He is an owner and member of the Executive Committee of the Boston Celtics basketball team. He is also a board member of the Center for American Progress, the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Economics Club of New York as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.  Previously, Mr. Hutchins served President Clinton in both the transition and the White House as a special advisor on economic and health-care policy. Mr. Hutchins holds an A.B. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.

 

Mr. Hutchins and his wife, Debbie, founded the Hutchins Family Foundation which, among other projects, has supported the Hutchins Center for African and African-American Research at Harvard University, which is chaired by Mr. Hutchins; the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy at The Brookings Institution; and the Chronic Fatigue Initiative, which conducts basic research into the cause of chronic fatigue syndrome.

Mr. Durban currently serves on the board of Tipping Point, a poverty-fighting organization that identifies and funds leading non-profit programs in the Bay Area to assist individuals and families in need.
 
Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Durban worked in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking Division. While at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Durban organized and led a joint initiative between the Corporate Finance Technology Group and the Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Sponsors Group to analyze and present investment opportunities in the technology industry. Prior to Cerberus, Mr. Kimbell held executive positions at EMC and Dell.  At EMC, he was Vice President of Corporate Strategy, responsible for integrating growth plans across business units. While at Dell, Mr. Kimbell served as the VP of EMEA Marketing and was on the European Management Team.  In this role, he was responsible for leading all marketing functions as well as the product teams for the EMEA commercial (B2B) business.   Previously, Mr. Kimbell was Director of Business Development for Transamerica, a strategy consultant for Bain & Company, and he started his career at Procter & Gamble.
 
Mr. Kimbell received a B.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Kansas State University, and an M.B.A from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

Dr. Schneble has also founded three start-up companies, starting his first company while a senior in high school. Mark Gillett re-joined Silver Lake in 2013 after previously serving at the firm from 2009-2011. He is a Managing Director and Head of Value Creation. Prior to his return to Silver Lake, Mr. Gillett served as Chief Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Skype, the global communications platform, driving acceleration of the company's growth strategy and leading its integration following Microsoft's acquisition of the business in 2011.  Subsequently, as Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, he oversaw the growth of Microsoft's enterprise and consumer communications software and services portfolio, while continuing to lead product innovation and operations for Skype.

Prior to joining Skype, Mr. Gillett led value creation for Silver Lake in Europe. He joined the firm from Alvarez & Marsal (A&M), where he was a Managing Director and Partner leading the High Technology, Telecoms and Private Equity practice in Europe. At A&M, he specialized in restructuring and operational diligence, performance improvement and turnaround management of online, consumer and enterprise software and device businesses.  While at A&M, he served in interim leadership positions and advisory or operating roles including at Lehman Brothers Holdings International, ADT/Tyco (France), Navigon AG, and iSOFT plc. At A&M, he also led engagements with several leading private equity firms.
 
Mr. Gillett served as a non-executive director for European Directories, a local search and advertising group, through a restructuring, digital transition and sale of the business in 2013.

Before Allyes, Mr. Tee worked for GE in various locations for 14 years and held several key leadership positions, including CIO of GE Corporate Asia, where he led a team to service the GE units in the region, and COO of GE Capital Greater China, where he ran a major retail card operation and system for a national bank partner in China and steered the information technology and operation strategy for a joint venture with a state-owned enterprise. Prior to joining Silver Lake Mr. Chen served as the Chairman and CEO of Sybase Inc., beginning in 1998. Under Mr. Chen’s leadership, Sybase was transformed from a mature technology company into a high-growth innovator that was acquired by SAP AG in 2010. Mr. Chen serves on the board of directors for the Walt Disney Company and Wells Fargo & Co. Mr. Chen is actively involved in international relations. He has testified before Congress on U.S.-China trade relations. In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed him to serve on the President's Export Council. In 2006, he was appointed as a Co-Chair of the Secure Borders and Open Doors Advisory Committee. Additionally, Mr. Chen chaired the U.S.-China Policy Advisory Roundtable for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Prior to Ning, Mr. Rosenthal was Vice President of Hewlett Packard Software's Business Service Automation product line, the fastest growing business within HP, through its $1.65 billion acquisition of Opsware, which he joined as the first employee in 1999. As Senior Vice President and General Manager of Opsware's Server Automation Products, Mr. Rosenthal led all aspects of product development, marketing, and engineering for the company's flagship product line that generated $150 million in annual revenue. During his 10 years at Carlyle, Mr. Marumo helped the firm build its presence in Japan, raise two buyout funds and consummate a range of investments and acquisitions, in addition to serving on the boards of Willcom and Covalent Materials and an observer of the board of eAccess.

Paul P. Wang joined Silver Lake in 2013 as a Senior Advisor. He brings more than forty years of experience in the technology and venture capital industries. Previously, he was a Managing General Partner at Pacific Venture Partners, a firm he founded in 1990. He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Sercomm Corporation, a publicly-listed wireless and telecom equipment company.  He also serves as a board member of several public companies, including MediaTek Inc., MiTAC Inc., and Taiwan Cement Company Ltd., and is currently Chairman of the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association in Taiwan, an organization of global Chinese technology companies and entrepreneurs. Mr. Wang served as Chairman of the Taiwan Venture Capital Association from 1997-2005 and Technology Advisor to the Executive Yuan, the executive branch of the Taiwan government, from 1983-1989. Prior to Pacific Venture Partners, Mr. Yang held a number of senior management positions during a 20-year career at IBM. Mr. Wang holds a Ph.D and an M.S. degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.S. degree in Physics from National Taiwan University.
